Coheteros at EuRoC 2026
Coheteros participated for the first time in EuRoC (European Rocketry Challenge), Europe's largest university rocketry competition, held from October 15 to 21, 2026 in Constância, Portugal.
In this 7th edition, organized by the Portuguese Space Agency with ESA support, 25 teams were selected from 64 applications across 26 countries.
NAOS EVO in flight
Our NAOS EVO rocket reached an apogee of 2832 meters. While the rocket was on the launch pad, we experienced telemetry reception issues at mission control due to interference from multiple teams transmitting and receiving on nearby frequencies simultaneously. The issue resolved itself after some time. We also had an issue with the tender-descender that prevented the main parachute from deploying, so the rocket descended on the drogue only. The rocket was recovered intact with some damage to the fin can, and flight data logging has been recovered for post-flight analysis.
This first participation in EuRoC marks a milestone for Coheteros and the University of Seville. From Seville to space, via Portugal.
